Welcome to the P&F Home Page
The River School Parents & Friends Association (P&F) promotes the further improvement of the River School and encourages collaboration between students, parents and the School Community.
The P&F runs a number of events during the year that fosters the sense of River School community we love while also raising funds for the school. These events include our popular Café Nights and annual Spring Fair.
The P&F is comprised of the Committee and a Parent Representative from each class. In addition, all River School parents are automatically members of the P&F. The P&F Committee is selected at the Annual General Meeting held at the first Café Night of the year. Parent Representatives are identified in conjunction with class teachers at the beginning of the school year.
The P&F meets monthly, typically on the second Monday of the month and we welcome interest and participation from all parents and friends of the River School community. For more information, please contact pfcommittee@riverschool.com.au

Parent Forums
The River School P&F Committee proudly sponsor regular parent workshops which are generally held once per term. These Parent Forums are curated to focus on topics that are of interest and support to our parent community..

2022 Fundraising
Below are the P&F’s fundraising projects from last year:
Hall Improvements
A 4 year program including new lighting, sound-proofing, concrete path entrance and store room.
Art Shed
The P&F provides additional funding to the Arts Program to support the purchase of materials.
Parent Forums
The P&F Committee sponsors 3-4 parent forums on varying topics each year, delivered by guest & visiting speakers. Recordings of past forums are available to enrolled families through the parent portal.
Music Program
The P&F provides additional funding to the Music Program to support the purchase of additional equipment.
