GIRLS CELEBRATION DAY
Year 5 2018 Girls Celebration Day
The River School is one of the only schools in Australia to not only run the Girl’s Celebration Day program as part of their annual curriculum, but to also have a number of trained facilitators of the program on staff.
Girls’ Celebration Day is a sacred circle for our young women, supported by their mums, to honour the cycles of their lives. Our Year 5 girls experience this day as a rite of passage in Term 3 of each school year. It is always a moving and bonding experience for all involved.
