ANZAC DAY 

The River School acknowledges the courageous spirit of our service men and women by participating in Anzac Day ceremonies each year. Students from The River School join the community in a March through the main street of Maleny and lay a wreath at the cenotaph, along with other community groups. Some of our Year 6 students proudly represent the school each year by reading an original poem that their class cooperatively writes about peace for the event. It is always a very moving and significant event for the students each year.
